COM Series by DMS – an unmanned, portable video surveillance system – a solution designed for covert remote field applications and officer safety. It is environmentally sealed in a hard shell, weatherproof, Pelican case which houses a heavy duty PC that tolerates severe conditions and physical abuse. High resolution, digital imaging systems uses compact, rugged camera platforms to capture video for suspect identification. Long-range optics and smart, “through-the-lens” motion detection allows an operator to select specific areas of the image to monitor for motion. Video management software can control up to four cameras and a split-screen monitor displays images simultaneously for maximum observation. Optional WiFi or Cell-COM peripherals enable wireless operation for video-over-Internet communication. Real-time video and e-mail alarms can be transmitted to Investigators who can adjust settings and camera positions.

Audio data is covertly collected and transmitted over an encrypted IP data network rather than the traditional short range RF transmission systems. It is a safer, more reliable and unlimiting range compared to RF body wires.
